Game Development is the process of creating a game from concept to completion, involving coding, asset integration, and testing. It includes using game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine to build mechanics, design levels, and optimize performance for target platforms, such as mobile devices.



Game Publishing
Duration: 3 Months

Game Publishing involves releasing, marketing, and distributing a game to reach players effectively. It includes tasks like app store optimization (ASO), monetization strategy implementation, community engagement, and analytics tracking to ensure the game’s success.


Course Description


This 6-month intensive course is designed to teach you the art and design skills required to create visually stunning mobile games. You’ll learn everything from character and environment design to UI/UX principles, texturing, and animation, all tailored specifically for mobile platforms. By the end of the course, you will have a polished portfolio showcasing your ability to create professional-quality game art assets.

Weeks 1–8 - Foundations

Objective

In this module, you’ll explore the artistic side of game development. From sketching characters to designing immersive worlds, you’ll gain the foundational skills needed to bring your ideas to life.

  • Tools for creating 2D and 3D art (e.g., Photoshop, Blender, Procreate)
  • Basics of perspective, color theory, composition, and lighting
  • Introduction to pixel art, vector graphics, and hand-drawn techniques.

  2. Sketching and concept art techniques
  3. Digital painting tools and workflows
  4. Creating simple sprites, textures, and UI elements

Weeks 9–16 - Intermediate Skills

  • Complete a full set of assets for a mobile game

  • Upon successful completion of the course, including all assignments and submitting your final portfolio, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion signed by the instructor(s). This certificate can be showcased on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, or portfolios to demonstrate your expertise in mobile game art.
